New York Mets owner Fred Wilpon is expected to testify next week in a trial to determine if the team owes any more money in the wake of Bernard Madoff's Ponzi scheme.

Wilpon's childhood friend, Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax, is one of several witnesses listed for the Manhattan civil trial.

The trustee charged with recovering billions of dollars lost by Madoff investors claims Mets owners should have known Madoff's actions were illegal.

If a jury agrees, the Mets could pay up to $300 million.

A judge already ruled the Mets must pay up to $83 million.
