Police have released surveillance video of the suspected killer of a Brooklyn porn shop worker.

Nimala Randunu, 54, was found dead early Saturday morning at the Video Xcitement store on Third Avenue in Sunset Park.

Police say he struggled with another man and suffered head trauma.

Authorities are looking at robbery as a possible motive.

Police say following the assault the suspect took some DVD containers and tried to take money from the register before leaving the store.

People who knew the victim say he usually worked nights and would send money back to family in Sri Lanka.

"I'm not surprised that it happened. Always like drunks or some kind of people might go in there, especially at nighttime. You never know what's going to happen," said Lev Belman, the owner of GG Tub and Tile, the business next door to the adult video store.

"He has no choice, he has no choice. You have to make a living, any way of that," said liquor store employee Bart Rodriguez, who works across the street from the adult video store. "A lot of people have to work any job. You have no choice."

The suspect is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall and 180 pounds, with a slight mustache and beard.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
