The three men allegedly hired by one of Mayor Michael Bloomberg's former political aides took the stand Wednesday in John Haggerty's grand larceny and money laundering trial.
They said they did watch the polls on Election Day, but it was for the Republican Party, not Haggerty.
The men also said Haggerty contacted them after Election Day to tell them they'd be getting a $500 check.
Two said they never got it, and the third said he returned it.
Haggerty produced a copy of three $500 checks and pay stubs made out to the three men.
Prosecutors allege he devised a fake ballot security operation during the mayor's 2009 reelection campaign.
