NY1 VIDEO: As part of its 9/11 tenth anniversary coverage, NY1 takes a look back at reporter Gigi Stone's September 28, 2001, story on Carlos Lillo, one of two paramedics killed in the attacks.

NY1 FOLLOW-UP: NY1 recently caught up with Lillo's partner and close friend Edith Torres. She says working without him was very difficult and a year and a half later she moved into an administrative job within the fire department. To mark the 10th anniversary of the attacks, a wreathe-laying will be held in the Astoria park that was named for Carlos Lillo in October of 2008.
