A former New York City Police Department housing officer has been indicted in connection with the strangling death of his wife.
The grand jury announced today that it has charged Eddy Coello, 38, with one count of second-degree murder. He is accused of killing his 40-year-old wife Tina Adovasio.
Adovasio’s body was found in Westchester earlier this month. She had been missing for about a week.
Coello faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison. His arraignment is scheduled for late next month.
