Dozens of people took part Saturday in the seventh annual Dumpling Eating Contest on Manhattan's Lower East Side.

Contestants gathered in Sara Roosevelt Park where they raced to see who could eat the most dumplings in two minutes.

The event is part of the Dumpling Festival, which celebrates the popular food with chefs providing dumpling and wantons from across Asia as well as Italian raviolis and Polish Peirogis.

All proceeds from the eating contest go to the New York City Food Bank.
