The only company left in the running to operate a slot-machine casino at Aqueduct race track has given new details of its plans for the site.
The Malaysian firm Genting New York Berhad has released sketches of its plans, after the state Lottery Division disqualified two other bidders last week.
The company is a major player in the Asian tourism industry, but so far has only had a behind-the-scenes role in the United States.
Among the site's other features, Genting says it would have a two-story food court, a huge space for corporate and community events, shuttle buses to John F. Kennedy Airport, and an outdoor terrace for up to 10,000 people.
That's in addition to 4,500 slot machines.
The company is set to further detail its plans during a community board meeting on Thursday.
