The art world has seen Cubism and Impressionism, but Sea Lionism?
Sea lions at the Bronx Zoo are trying their hands, or in this case flippers, at painting on canvas.
The zoo says it is a slow process. First, the animals had to be trained to hold sticks and mimic the motions of someone using a paint brush.
Officials say once they get used to it, the animals take to painting like a fish to water.
The sea lions usually start painting during their feeding times at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
