A cold front made its way through the area early Sunday morning and left some brisk winds behind. Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph were seen across the five boroughs, and a few locations saw winds top 40 mph. It was also noticeably colder than Saturday, as temperatures dropped back to below-normal levels.

Expect conditions to remain blustery as we head into the day on Monday. Some locations could see winds of over 25mph. It will be a few degrees milder though, and we will have lots of sunshine out there as well. Expect the winds to gradually subside Monday night.

Look for temperatures to increase slightly during the upcoming week. Afternoon highs will primarily be in the low to mid 50s. Conditions are looking dry for the most part, but, we could see a few showers move through on Friday and Saturday. Overnight lows will be in the 30s and 40s.
