Another open house is scheduled for Wednesday evening on Staten Island to discuss changes to Express Bus service on the borough.

The meeting is slated to be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Elks Lodge 841 at 3250 Richmond Avenue, across the street from Eltingville Transit Center.

You can visit the MTA's web site for more information.

The first meeting was held Monday, to discuss the MTA's proposed to reduce some stops, while combining routes and tweaking others.

The MTA's proposed changes to Staten Island Express Bus service

And instead of some buses stopping in both Midtown and Lower Manhattan, each bus will serve one of the Manhattan locations, but not both.

Close to 100,000 people use Express Bus service between Staten Island and Manhattan every day.

"I think we've designed an express route network that is much more modern, that is based upon real feedback from real customers and with input from the people that know best, namely our operators."
