NEW YORK - Bette Midler is coming back to Broadway for another run in her Tony award winning role in "Hello, Dolly"

It's a limited engagement that is set to start July 17, running through August 25.

The revival will close after that.

Midler takes over for Bernadette Peters, who stepped up to the role in January.

The show is based off of Thornton Wilder's 1938 play, "The Merchant of Yonkers."

Returning with Midler are her original co-stars David Hyde Pierce and Gavin Creel.

Tickets for the production's final weeks will go on sale April 28.
