A dream come true was made for a young boy who loves the subways.

The boy got to meet his idol, none other than the Transit chief.

Andy Byford spent the day showing off some of the MTA's fleet to 6-year-old Harry Tay.

Harry, who uses a wheelchair, loves public transit so much that on Halloween, he dressed up as an M-96 bus.

It caught the attention of Byford, who gave the transit-loving tyke a behind-the-scenes look at one of the MTA's bus depots in Queens.

"Seeing him coming out his shell, and was increasingly excited by what he saw, that made it all worthwhile," Transit President Andy Byford said.

"He was so excited in the whole week leading up to this. All day today he's been talking about it and I think we're going to be hearing about it non-stop for the next few weeks," Harry’s mother, Jasmine Tay said.

Byford says one of his top priorities is making the city's public transportation system accessible to everyone.
