Some kids on Staten Island are getting the supplies they need to head back to school, courtesy of a non-profit.

Central Family Life Center held its annual Back to School Giveaway Saturday in Stapleton.
The center distributed 300 backpacks and other school supplies to students in kindergarten to middle school.

It was a huge help to parents and grandparents who have several children to get for the new school year.

The Central Family Life Center has been serving the borough community since 1979.
