Some Staten Island students with developmental disabilities are getting access to the college experience.
5 students graduated from the Melissa Riggio Higher Education Program at the College of Staten Island on Tuesday.
The program is celebrating its 10th year in the borough.
Participants get to attend college classes and even get some experience with internships.
Students walk away with a certificate after completing the program.
Organizers said they also work on helping their graduates get jobs.
