Family, friends and supporters came out to honor the lives of police officers killed in the line of duty.

Dozens attended the fourth annual Staten Island Remembers ceremony at the 121 Precinct.

It pays tribute to all the fallen officers in the borough.

It's meant to show family members of those lost that the department has not forgotten about them.

This year the names of 46 officers were read dating back to 1922.

"We remember that these people did a sacrifice, the ultimate sacrifice for us and our community," said organizer Bob Cutrona.

The last Staten Island officer killed in the line of duty was Kelly Korchak back last year.
