There's a push to turn the North Shore into a tech hub.

The three tech startups chosen to be part of the College of Staten Island's tech incubator in St. George were revealed on Monday.

This iniative provides free workspace and access to CSI staff for expert advice or research partnerships.

One of the companies chosen is called Find My Everything, which uses a tracking device to help find lost items.

Organizers say the goal of the incubator is to bring more techonology jobs to Staten Island.

"We're investing in the borough and our ability to attract technology companies within the borough. Have them work, and play, and live here. And expand their businesses. And ultimately be able to offer technology opportunities to our students and to our community," said Jasmine Cardona, Director of Workplace Development and Innovation, College of Staten Island.

The three startups were chosen out of more than 50 applicants. They will take part in the program for six to nine months to help further develop their businesses.
