Getting to and from school is about to get a whole lot easier for Some Staten Island students.

The Michael Petrides School received a new security booth Wednesday.

Guardian Booths and Broadway Stages made the donation which will allow the school to give students access to the property from Milford Drive. Right now, students have to walk around to the main entrance on Ocean Terrace.

Representatives say the booth will make for a safer campus.

"So there is somebody to oversee, see what they're doing, make sure they get to school safely, not have to cut through a fence or anything like that; just make sure they are okay. They are the number one priority of course," said Christian Boquet of Guardian Booths.

School officials say the booth will be installed this Spring.
