Police are looking for a group of men they say violently assaulted a teenage boy waiting for the subway in the Bronx.

It happened Monday afternoon on the Elder Avenue 6 Train platform in Soundview.

Police say the teen got into an argument with a large group of men, said to be between 16 and 20 years old.

During the altercation, one of the men took out a gun.

He was then hit in the face and body with a belt buckle and stabbed three times in his stomach.

The men fled the station.

The victim was treated at Montefiore Medical Center.
