Seven Seton Catholic Central High School students traveled to Washington D.C. for the 45th annual March for Life Friday.

For some of the students, it was their first time marching, while for others, it was their third.

They all hope their voices were heard, and this will encourage others to protect lives.

The students also witnessed President Donald Trump give a speech by video from outside the White House.

The group returned late Friday night, tired, but also feeling accomplished.

"I felt like I participated in something meaningful," said senior Rose Kane. "And I felt like I was definitely making a difference."

"I felt a huge relief that we just did something amazing," said freshman Keiarrah Nccray. "And that I was a part of something bigger than a 14-year-old girl from Binghamton, New York.

The march began after the Supreme Court's decision in the Roe v. Wade case to legalize abortion in 1973.
