A controversial, anti-police banner was removed from the Manhattan Bridge Friday.

It specifically targeted former NYPD detectives, Eddie Martins and Richard Hall, who are accused of sexually assaulting a teen.

The banner read, "Martin and Hall aren't the only rapists, abolish police."

The banner was unveiled on the same day that Martins and Hall appeared in court.

Thursday was the first time the accuser faced the former detectives since the alleged assault.

Police are investigating who put up the banner.
