INTERNATIONAL – One of the leading cigarette companies in the world is now moving to smoke-free products.

The maker of Marlboro said they are giving up smoking and looking for products that replace cigarettes.

Philip Morris International previously sold Marlboro cigarettes in the United Kingdom. The company has now launched a campaign encouraging users to quit and find smoke-free alternatives.

“Society expects us to act responsibly. And we are doing just that by designing a smoke-free future,” states the PIM website.

PIM said their success selling cigarettes has allowed them to acquire the resources to change their vision.

Their smoke-free products include:

  • IQOS: An electronic that release the flavors of nicotine
  • TEEPS: Carbon heat source to release tobacco taste
  • E-Vapor products: Extracts nicotine from tobacco leaves to generate vapor
  • STEEM: Generates nicotine vapor into nicotine salt

They even created a website with info to help users kick the habit. The campaign is coupled with England's plan to reduce the amount of people who smoke.
