When you think of Citi Field, you think of baseball and the Mets.

But the ballpark in Queens has been transformed into an outdoor hockey rink to host the NHL's 10th Winter Classic later today.

The Rangers will face off against the Buffalo Sabres at 1 p.m.

The Blueshirts played in one previous classic in 2012 in Philadelphia.

Buffalo hosted the first one in 2008.

But this is the first Winter Classic ever held in New York City.

The Rangers have played outdoors before in the city.

In 2014, they played the Devils and Islanders at Yankee Stadium.

But neither game was the Winter Classic.
