It all came down to one point as the city's best high school football teams battled in the Bronx Tuesday night for the PSAL Championship Title.

Curtis High School is bringing home the gold.

The Warriors defeated the top-ranked Erasmus Hall Dutchmen for the second year in a row in a thrilling 36-35 victory.

A strong passing game and tough defense kept Curtis on top.

The Dutchmen didn't give up easily, but a failed a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter kept the championship in the Warriors' hands.

"I don't know why you'd bet against Curtis high School but for whatever reason we were the underdogs and we just wanted to come out and show what we had," Curtis High School quarterback Quincy Barnes.

"I'm feeling great. I'm feeling absolutely great. This group right here was unbelievable today," said Curtis High School head coach Peter Gambardella.

Tuesday night's win marks the seventh championship football title in the school's history.
