NEW YORK - A Big Apple hotel is offering an extravagant version of the city staple if you're willing to pay the price.

For a limited time, The Westin New York hotel in Times Square is selling a $1,000 bagel.

It made its first appearance back in 2007.

The traditional Jewish bread will be served up with goji berry-infused Riesling jelly, gold flakes, and cream cheese infused with white truffle.

The hotel boasts that this truffle is the second most expensive food in the world.

But this fancy schmear is not for profit - all bagel sales will benefit the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen in Midtown.

The bagel will be available starting November 1 through December 15.

It needs to be ordered one day in advance either through the hotel's 24-hour room service or at its Foundry Kitchen during breakfast hours.
