Police on Staten Island arrest a man they say traveled from upstate to illegally hunt deer.
They say Cody Pernice had a crossbow, seen above, with him as he perched in a tree.
It happened on Tuesday at about 6 p.m. at Conference House Park in Tottenville.
Pernice also allegedly had a track with a large amount of corn, which is often used as deer bait.
He has been charged with unlawful hunting and criminal possession of a weapon.
