Sixteen students in Tottenville took part in the fourth Annual Amazing Race.

The New York Center for Interpersonal Development hosted the event yesterday.

Students traveled throughout the borough by bus and toured several historical sites.  The race is meant to teach them valuable skills.

"They are working on their communication skills and they are working on their conflict management skills and then they are also working on good time management," said Michael Devito Jr.,  Senior Director, NYCID.

"Not a lot of people have teamwork skills and it's hard to work as a team sometimes. We are not used to stuff like this," said Phillip DiFalco, a participant.

Winners of the race received wireless headphones and a fifty dollar gift card.
