The nonprofit Where To Turn has begun stocking shelves for their opening of their Holiday Toy Store.

The store will open it's doors and needy families will receive gifts on December 10 and 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Each family selects up to six toys, or two toys per child.

All of toys are free for those in need and are donated from various groups around Staten Island.

Volunteers say seeing the faces of gift recipients makes it all worthwhile.

"My favorite part is when the little kids come in and actually see something that they want, and just the look on their faces and everything, it really make you smile," said Dennis McKeon, executive director of Where To Turn.

"Their faces light up and they are so excited to see all these toys that are offered and they don't know what to pick, what to choose," said volunteer Fran Iannone.

The Holiday Store is located at 22 Brienna Court.  Where To Turn is also in need of more donations.

If you would like to drop off a toy you can bring it to the UPS store located at 150 L Greaves Lane from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
