A Staten Island man was arrested Tuesday and charged with robbery, criminal possession of a loaded firearm and criminal possession of a controlled substance following a crash Tuesday in Annadale.
Police say Carlo Dipadova, 58, of Eltingville was responsible for the robberies of New York Man Suits on Richmond Road on Monday, the Payless Shoe Store on Veterans Road West in Charleston on Tuesday, and the Gamestop on Richmond Avenue in New Springville back on December 7.
Police say Dipadova was arrested at the site of a car crash involving a police car Tuesday at the corner of Arden Avenue and Drumgoole Road East.
Three people involved in the crash were taken Staten Island University Hospital with minor injuries.
