A local church helps get the community geared up for fall.

The Reformed Church of Huguenot Park held its annual Fall Harvest Fair.

Raffle tickets, baked goods and a flea market called "Grandma's Attic" all acted as fundraisers for the church.

Those who visited Saturday, got the chance to play games, do some crafts and get their flu shot.

The church tells us it is more than just a festive fair.  Steve DeCosta is a member of the church and says,

"This fair is an annual event for our congregation, it is a combination of a chance for people to have a little fellowship together and a chance for us to reach out to the community."

Rose Proscia is a deacon of the church and says,

"It brings the congregation closer together, it brings the neighborhood in and we do a service for the neighborhood"
