Some West Brighton residents are being credited with saving the life of a baby squirrel.
The concerned citizens found the squirrel along Forest Avenue on Sunday night.
They weren't sure how old it was, but saw that it appeared to be injured and maybe even lost.
The residents flagged down cops from the 120th precinct to get the animal help.
The officers took the squirrel to CompleteCare Veterinary Center on Clove Road.
An office representative told NY1 they say they are bottle feeding the squirrel and it is recovering well.
