Local entrepreneur Crystal Rossi refers to her business, the On Demand Salon, as the Uber for hair.
Customers can book an appointment on the mobile salon's website and expect a stylist at their doorstep within 24 hours.
The website offers a range of services ranging from haircuts, for men and women, to make-up application.
"Everyone is so extremely busy, whether you are a stay at home mom, or a business person and it's very difficult to make time to pamper yourself. So, I wanted to give people the opportunity to be able to do that," said Crystal Rossi , owner of the On Demand Salon.
"Like myself, there are plenty of moms out there who can't leave their house and get their hair done or their nails done and I think something like this is absolutely genius," said customer Nicole Langford.
The On Demand Salon is open seven days a week, and customers can visit the salon's web site to make an appointment.
