The hustle and bustle of the Christmas shopping season may be over, but businesses are still seeing a lot of customers.
Dozens of post-holiday shoppers filed into Casale Jewelers in Dongan Hills on Saturday.
While NY1 didn’t interview anyone returning gifts, we found several customers wearing new watches and rings they'd received.
They were there to get their new gifts sized.
"It's like a tradition to go shopping after Christmas, people get gifts, money, gift cards, and stuff like that," said customer Anthony Accardi.
Store employees say several customers were also in to purchase engagement rings for upcoming New Year’s Eve proposals.
"We have great customers, they're very true to us and they've been coming here for many, many years," said store manager Vicky Romeo.
The store manager says Casale Jewelers does also have after Christmas sales going on and that's certainly helping bring customers in.
