The city is adding extra Staten Island Ferry service in the overnight hours.
The ferry will run every half hour overnight starting early Thursday morning at 1:30 a.m.
Currently, the ferry runs once an hour from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays, and from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. on weekends.
Mayor Bill de Blasio announced a plan to fund the extra service earlier this year.
