Miss New York 2015 Jamie Lynn Macchia will soon compete in the Miss America Competition.

Until then, the Eltingville native says her schedule is eat, sleep, pageant prep, and repeat.

"We have all of my outfits lined up, so that I know when I get there exactly what I have to put on what shoes, what jewelry and I don't have to think about anything," said Macchia.

The 23-year-old was crowned Miss New York at the St. George Theatre in June. It was her fourth time competing for the title.

At the Miss America pageant, she'll be judged on talent, private interview, on-stage question, evening wear, and swimsuit.

To get in tip-top shape, she's been carefully prepping meals and working out regularly at the South Shore YMCA.

Her personal trainer John even let me take part in one of their sessions and trust me when I tell you- her fitness regimen, isn't easy.

"We do mostly use dumbbells and barbells,  because that's gonna build the most amount of strength to burn the muscle," said John Arena, who is Macchia's trainer.

"My legs, I can't feel them most of the time," said Macchia.

Macchia could also make Miss America history. If she wins, she'll be the fourth consecutive Miss New York to hold the title.

35% percent of the contest is based on the talent portion.

"I'll be performing Beyonce's "I was here." It's a lyrical dance," said Macchia.

"And the song is really about just making a legacy that people will remember when you're gone, so I mean, what better legacy than creating a four-peat for New York," she added.

She'll be leaving a legacy in her native borough too. If Macchia takes home the crown, it will also be the first time a Staten Islander won.

The Miss America Pageant will air on ABC on September 13th.
