  What do Spectrum customers get?

The websites for Charter's 24-hour news channels in New York City, across Upstate New York, and in North Carolina, Texas, and California, offer enhanced access to customers who subscribe to our video (TV) service.

This includes 24/7 access to the live stream of your local Spectrum News channel, plus unlimited access to all of our video clips including our full shows.

For unlimited access our video content, customers must sign in using their TWC ID and password – the same ID used to access the company's online bill pay service, stream TV shows from WatchESPN and HBO GO, and use Remote DVR manager, Phone Manager and other services.

This ID is free of charge to all subscribers, and there is no additional charge for the enhanced website content. However, subscribers with only high-speed data or phone service will have to upgrade their subscription to be able to access our video content.

Those without a TWC ID can still access most of our video clips. However, Spectrum News live streams and full shows are limited to Spectrum subscribers.

If you've already set up your TWC ID, you're all ready to access all of our content.  If not, you can register for your TWC ID by following the instructions below.

How do I sign in to watch your video clips?

For unlimited access our video clips and local live streams, sign in with your TWC username and password. This is the same username and password used to access the company's online bill pay service, stream TV shows from WatchESPN and HBO GO, and use Remote DVR manager, Phone Manager and other services.

If you haven't set up your username and password yet, you can easily do so on the Registration Page by entering your e-mail address and following the registration instructions.

Once you have a TWC username and password, you can sign in from any page on the site by clicking on the words "Sign in here" at the top right corner of the page, or by clicking the sign-in button that appears when you go to watch a full show, or by going to the live stream login page.

How do I sign in to watch your 24/7 live stream?

If you're a Spectrum customer who gets one of our news channels on your cable box, you can watch your local news channel online on any modern web browser. Just click the WATCH LIVE tab on the blue bar at top of any page, then click the Spectrum button in the middle of the page and login with your username and password.

How do I sign in to the site to watch all your video clips?

Once you've set up your username and password on the Registration Page, you're ready to go. Sign in to watch our clips by clicking on the words "Sign in here" at the top right corner of any page, or by clicking the "Sign in" button that appears when you go to watch any show clip. Once you're signed in, the words at the top of the page will change to "Sign out here" and you can sign out by clicking on that link.

Does my login also get me access to the live video stream?

In addition to our video clips, we offer Spectrum video subscribers access to our 24/7 live video stream – however you must have one of our news channels in the channel line-up on your cable box to access our live stream.

Troubleshooting

When I go to sign in, I get a message saying "Your subscription does not currently include access to this programming."

If you're trying to view one of our video clips, first make sure that you subscribe to our video (TV) service. If you're a Spectrum customer who has only high-speed data or phone service, you must upgrade to a video subscription for unlimited access to our video content.

If you get this message while trying to sign in to our 24/7 live stream, it's likely because you don't have that news channel in the channel line-up on your cable box.

I subscribe to Spectrum video service and/or I get your news channel on my cable box, but I'm still having trouble signing in.

If you're a video customer and/or you get one of our news channels on your cable box but you're still having trouble logging in, get assistance by visiting the Help Page, where you can choose between live chat or phone support.

I'm experiencing additional issues with the site.
