Saturday began on a gray note in the Big Apple, but, skies did brighten later in the day and temperatures reached the 80s for the fifth straight day. It wasn't all sunshine around the region however; The five boroughs did see a few showers and storms move through later in the day.

We'll see the clouds return on Sunday, and a few more raindrops are possible during the morning hours. The afternoon and evening look much drier, but, it will be noticeably cooler and less humid than the past few days. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 70s.

Looking ahead, we'll have a mix of sun and clouds and light winds in place for Monday, with an afternoon high of 78 degrees. Clouds will then increase Tuesday afternoon, and a few raindrops are possible towards evening. Highs will be around 80. Look for more showers and storms on Wednesday.
