A chilly air mass is still in place but never fear, changes are on the way! First though, another chilly day to get through.

With mainly clear skies temperatures tonight will easily settle into the mid 20s. That will set us up for a bright and cold Friday. Temperatures will be a tad better than Thursday with highs in the upper 30s. By comparison, it was only 32 on Thursday.

The warming trend really takes off on Saturday. With sunshine and a southerly breeze temperatures will climb to around 50. It's likely that parts of the city will reach the low 50s. Sunday won't be as mild with highs in the upper 40s. That's still much better than the last several weekends.

Early next week a storm system will bring a period of rain, mainly from late Monday into early Tuesday.
