A cold front is approaching the city tonight and will arrive early on Wednesday. At the same time, an area of low pressure off the east coast will bring a round of showers before sunrise. Those showers will likely continue through mid day on Wednesday. The cold front will nudge that low to the east and bring a chilly air mass to the northeast for Thanksgiving and Friday. Despite being cold, our weather will be very quiet. Clouds will increase a bit Saturday as a secondary cold front arrives. There may be a few flurries Sunday morning as the new cold air mass settles over the northeast. Into next week there may be a milder trend developing. Stay tuned for updates on that.
