After a mild and wet end to the weekend, expect another round of showers today. This comes courtesy of a cold front from the west. In addition to providing wet weather, this frontal boundary will aid in bringing along much cooler air to the boroughs. Highs will likely top out in the upper 60s this afternoon. Rain is expected to arrive around lunch time before tapering off around 5pm.

Showers will give way to partly cloudy skies tonight and breezy conditions. Then you can put away away the rain gear and turn up the heat. Temperatures are expected to fall into the upper 40s tonight.

Sunshine and cooler temperatures will return tomorrow with a high of 53 degrees.

Highs will reach the 50s for the next few days. However, it will be noticeably chillier during the overnight with lows in the 30s and 40s for the remainder of the week. Colder daytime temperatures are expected to arrive in time for Veterans Day on Saturday. This will be the coldest it's been since last spring.
