J.J. Watt already collected millions of dollars to support Hurricane Harvey recovery, but this foundation received a sizable boost thanks to H-E-B's CEO.

Charles Butt personally contributed $5 million to the Houston Texans defensive end's fundraiser.

“It is amazing what can happen when people from all over come together for one common goal," said Watt in a statement.

Watt raised just over $27.3 million through the website YouCaring as of Wednesday afternoon. He launched the account days after the storm tore through the Gulf Coast and flooded much of Houston. Most of the money has come from donations from private citizens and fans of the football star.

Other celebrities and notable names have contributed to the relief efforts, including Drake, Ellen DeGeneres and the owners of the Tennessee Titians.
