Mets' veteran outfielder Curtis Granderson is heading out west to join the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Mets traded the 36-year-old for a player to be named later and cash considerations, the teams said late Friday night.

Granderson was in the final season of a four-year, $60 million contract with the Amazins'. He was hitting .228 with 19 home runs, a .334 on-base percentage, and an .815 OPS.

The former New York Yankee is one of many soon-to-be-free-agents that the Mets have traded in the past few weeks — including Jay Bruce and Addison Reed — as they prepare for the 2018 season.
