Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams is calling for an investigation into the woman who falsely accused a nine-year-old of sexual assault at a Brooklyn bodega.

The woman seen in surveillance video called police Wednesday after she said a boy walking behind her at the Sahara Deli Market in Flatbush groped her.

But video shows the boy's backpack actually grazed her.

Community outrage has been growing since the incident and the accuser was dubbed "Corner Store Caroline".

She apologized to the boy after watching the surveillance video, but his mother says he's traumatized by the event.

"Having to explain to your 9-year-old son what assault is, what sexual assault means, and having to go over the term with him what racism is. And having to witness and see he's crying all over again," said the boy's mother.

"I know that I'm crying again but people should be treated equally, the same way we should be treated," said the young boy.

The incident went viral after when someone posted video of the 911 call on Facebook.

It's been viewed over seven million times.
