Police rescued a group of 10 pets from a hot car in the middle of Manhattan.

Volunteers withthe Bideawee Pet Rescued noticed two dogs, five adult cats and three kittens inside a sweltering Jeep in Murray Hill Saturday morning.

It was parked on East 38th Street near the Franklin D. Roosevelt Drive, just outside of the rescue.

Volunteers said the animals looked like they were in good condition, but temperatures were rising.

The NYPD was called to the scene to get the animals out.

It's unclear if the person who left the animals will face animal cruelty charges.
