A 17-year-old was taken to a local hospital in critical condition Saturday after a car hit him in Brooklyn.
It happened around 4:54 p.m. at Ocean Parkway and Ditmars Ave. in Kensington.
Police said a 64-year-old man, who was driving southbound and crossing Ocean Parkway, struck the teen with his BMW.
Officers found the 17-year-old lying on the ground with severe head trauma.
The driver remained on the scene, police said. No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
Neighbors said the intersection has seen its fair share of car crashes.
