A Queens man is calling on the MTA to improve bus service at the eastern end of the borough.

Little Neck Resident Stephan Popa launched a change.org petition in December to extend Q46 bus service along its Glen Oaks route to the Little Neck Long Island Railroad.

He said the Q36 bus, which is the only bus that serves the train station, is synced up with buses at the other end of its line in Jamaica.

He said it leaves commuters stranded at the railroad, waiting too long for trains.

"If bus is late or a bus is lost, then it’s game over for a lot of people who use the system," Popa said. “So if commuters see that they have a functioning bus corridor here, they’ll be more incentivized to take this bus."

The Transit Authority refused to comment on the issue.
