HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Police in Huntersville are investigating a deadly shooting on Northstar Drive.

The body of a man was found in his apartment around 10 p.m. Monday.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

There’s no word on the victim’s name.

At last report, no one has been arrested in this case.

This is the first homicide of the year in Huntersville.
