Eight families are without a home after a large fire broke out inside their Bronx apartment building Monday night.
The FDNY says 130 firefighters responded around 8 p.m. to the fire located at 570 St. Mary's Street in Mott Haven.
It started on the top floor of the five-story building.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
The Red Cross is providing residents with emergency housing.
Fire officials are still investigating the cause.
