A popular Washington Heights resturant and bar at risk of closing is getting a second chance.

Earlier this week, NY1 reported that Coogan's was going out of business, after its landlord, NewYork-Presbyterian, was raising the rent.

But on Twitter, the Hospital says both parties have come to an agreement, putting a stop to the impending closure.

Many elected officials, including Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and Rep. Adriano Espaillat, rallied for the bar.

Co-owner Peter Walsh says the two lawmakers and "Hamilton" star Lin-Manuel Miranda gave him the good news.

Miranda expressed his excitement that the bar would stay open on Twitter.

Walsh says being able to tell his employees that there's a new lease was an amazing feeling.
