MARION -- The North Carolina Forest Service and the McDowell County Fire Marshall's Office is investigating a possible serial arsonist.
Officials say over Thanksgiving weekend six fires were set along the road and two more today.
This is video of one of the charred sites along Highway 226 North.
Fire crews say they've been kept busy and the sites have been along very rural roads.
