A livery cab driver is slamming a Bronx Judge who let one of his teenage attackers out on bond.

He lost a thumb in the incident.

Police say the two 17-year-olds went after Richard Deleon with a machete.

It happened back on November 19, near Grand Concourse and East 198th Street.

Deleon had three female passengers in his car, and stepped in to defend them.

"It happened very fast. He tried to stop the attackers he tried to get back in the car, he raised his hand and they were aiming at his head with the machete and instead they just took his finger," said New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers President Fernando Mateo.

Judge Patsy Gouldborne released one of the suspects on a $200 bond.

The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers union is standing by Deleon.

They say one his passengers was also slashed in the attack, requiring 14 stitches.
